PCV Valves and Breathers

Signs Your Vehicle Needs a New PCV Valve

  1. Increased oil consumption
  2. Engine oil leaks
  3. Reduced fuel economy
  4. Rough engine idle

Why Replace Your PCV Valve?

The PCV Valve regulates the flow of crankcase fumes into the intake manifold so they can be burned and help maintain proper crankcase pressure. If not replaced regularly, the PCV valve will become clogged which reduces engine performance, reduces fuel economy and can cause oil leaks, as well as, other issues.

  • Your existing PCV valve is removed and recycled.
  • Your new PCV valve in installed per your manufacturer’s specifications.

Signs Your Vehicle Needs a New Breather

  1. Excessively high idle
  2. Engine oil leaks
  3. Reduced power and acceleration

Why Replace Your Breather?

The Breather Element is typically a paper or foam element that helps filter the air pulled into the engine crankcase by the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system. All dirty air filtration components will reduce airflow, which could lead to poor acceleration, reduced engine performance, reduced fuel economy, oil leaks as well as other issues. Not all vehicles are equipped with a PCV valve and/or breather.

The Breather Service

  • Your existing breather is removed and recycled.
  • Your new breather in installed per your manufacturer’s specifications.
